This post is for those of you who hear about what's going on in my life only via here...
I apologize for not posting often, but I've been busy doing nothing... as in, I've been too busy to update... but I haven't done anything worth updating about...
EXCEPT... I'm moving out soon, and moving into a two bedroom apartment with a friend of mine named Matt P., most of you know him... anywho... that's about it... oh, and I got a new phone... that was one of my x-mas presents to me... the other was Disgaea, which is one thing that has taken some of my time up... the other thing is work...
and I got a Rice Cooker for x-mas... which is really freaking awesome...

|10:53 am - Work|
Today work was mostly blah... really boring and seemed to stretch on forever... until near the end, when it kinda rushed through the last 1.5 hours, like it was trying to make up for being so boring for the first 7... even the TV was boring during lunch...
Anywho... after I clocked out of work, my Manager showed me the most hilarious thing that I have seen in a while... and me being me, I'm gonna explain everything in terms of background info about it... feel free to ignore my ramblings...
( my explanation, cut so you don't have to read it if you don't want to.Collapse )
Anywho, today, my manager showed me an HD Designs log carrier that we have in our Fireplace tools section, and it says "Log Carrier" in the big letters, and below that it says "Sub Text Here" in the smaller italicized letters...
I know it sounds really stupid... but this was right after I got done with work, and I was/am tired... and I haven't seen much of anything funny lately... so it was a big relief to see it... anywho... I know my life sounds really exciting if this is the highlight of my past few weeks, but that's ok... I never said I was an interesting person...

I thought my results were appropriate for me...
Oh, and I don't think I mentioned this, but for the past week, and will continue doing so for the next few weeks, I have been on the graveyard shift at work... they needed people, and I was one of two people that were available for it, so I got volunteered for the job... so did the other guy... now there's like ten of us on the graveyard shift, which is a whole lot better than when it was five... and it's better organized... and I'm not entirely sure, but I think the Home Assistant Manager is trying to get me to accept a full time job being in charge of the night crew... that would be interesting... the only way I'd do that is if I got fully trained before hand... so that if any problems arised, I'd know what to do... instead of just asking the person in charge, who, for the record, would be me...
In other news, on Thanksgiving, I got to play X-Box 360 on a screen wider than I am tall... some friends of my sister joined us, and one of them brought their 360 and a really nice projector... we had it going on the living room wall, it was freaking awesome, and still looked amazing... Call of Duty 2 is fun, so is Kameo... if I get a 360, I'll be getting Kameo, Call of Duty 2, and Perfect Dark Zero. And Halo 3 when it comes out... because they damned well better come out with Halo 3... that way we can see the ending of Halo 2, which would be awesome... anywho... yeah... I'm gonna go get some food, before I have to get ready for work...

I'm not too suprised by my results... anywho... lately... I've been working, eating, sleeping, and hanging out with friends occasionally... exciting life, I know... anywho... I'm tired... and I want some sleep... oh, and part of me wants to be depressed right now... and I'm not sure why... perhaps I'll "give in to the Dark Side" or something... oh well... doesn't really matter... and I'm sure as hell not gonna waste your time with an Angsty Emo-filled rant...
Current Mood: blah, maybe depressed soon...

Gaming is fun.
Although the last two gaming sessions we haven't gotten much done... last session, we woke up after resting for the first time since we started... that's like 4 or so sessions in... we finally rest... and the party is 5th level... started at first... anywho... woke up, healed Hit Point and Stat damage, and then explored the rest of the Kobold Caves we were in. Finding a Kender trapped to the ceiling in one of the rooms, we free it, and thus Geo (Player's name, can't remember character's name) is introduced to the party. As we were leaving the Kobold Caves we decided to see what was behind this one brick wall that we had discovered earlier. Turns out it was a long passage. There was a shaft going up along the path, it came to a trap door, which was covered in dirt and grass... it had been there a while. So we went back down into the tunnel, and followed it some more.
We came to a door, and above the door, we could see, quite obviously, a trap. A nasty looking one (A whole bunch of spears, coated in what appears to be poison, and pointed at the door). We also notice that the trap isn't attached to the door, but could be if we took one string that's hanging there and hooked it to the door, anywho... we set off the trap because we felt like it, and the force of all the spears slamming into the door knocks it out of it's frame and into the room that was beyond it. Which turns out to be the Mayor's office of the Town of Shire(Whitman couldn't think of a name, so I said the first thing that came to mind). That's about where that gaming session ended.
Yesterday/Today, we started, bought some horses and hired some people to help haul the loot out of the dungeon. All approx. 70,000 copper, 45,000 silver, A good amount of gold, and some platinum. Then we traveled with the loot in the direction of the nearest Dwarf Kingdom, came across a river, followed it south to another town, this one much bigger... and changed our copper and most of our silver into gold and platinum. I now have something in excess of 1200 gold and 77 platinum. Everyone else has about that much.
We've also got some magic items, not sure what they do, but that's ok...
Anywho, we then slept in this town and then headed out in the morning, riding a ferry across the river in the direction of the dwarf kingdom. Arrived there, and camped out right near the fort that's guarding the road into the kingdom.
I'd say that we got maybe a total of about 4 or so hours of actual gaming. It's kinda funny, we kept just going off topic. And different people would bring us back into the game.
Anywho... that's my day... I also worked today... but that was kinda boring... moved furniture around, all day.
Now I'm tired, and am gonna go to bed.
( Shameless self promotion of test I got bored and made a few weeks agoCollapse )
