|10:53 am - Work|
Today work was mostly blah... really boring and seemed to stretch on forever... until near the end, when it kinda rushed through the last 1.5 hours, like it was trying to make up for being so boring for the first 7... even the TV was boring during lunch...
Anywho... after I clocked out of work, my Manager showed me the most hilarious thing that I have seen in a while... and me being me, I'm gonna explain everything in terms of background info about it... feel free to ignore my ramblings...
At Fred Meyer, we sell Furniture and stuff that is the HD Designs brand, which is actually Fred Meyer brand, but are you gonna buy Fred Meyer brand Furniture and Sheets, or are you gonna buy HD Designs Furniture and Sheets? My point exactly... Anywho, with most HD Designs things, there's a collection that they make a bunch of items for so that you can have it all match without having to put any effort into it... and on the box that the stuff comes in it has in big letters saying what it is, like a dresser or coffee table or whatever... and then below that in smaller italicized letters is the collection it's from, or if it's not from a collection, the finish used on it...
Anywho, today, my manager showed me an HD Designs log carrier that we have in our Fireplace tools section, and it says "Log Carrier" in the big letters, and below that it says "Sub Text Here" in the smaller italicized letters...
I know it sounds really stupid... but this was right after I got done with work, and I was/am tired... and I haven't seen much of anything funny lately... so it was a big relief to see it... anywho... I know my life sounds really exciting if this is the highlight of my past few weeks, but that's ok... I never said I was an interesting person...

lol, the things that amuse the employed.
if there's a metal staircase anywhere in the store, I highly suggest kicking long, shallow cardboard boxes down it. and although it looks fun to ride in one as it goes down, I do NOT suggest doing that.
You just gave me two great ideas, and neither involve stairs...

all I can say is, if it involves conveyor belts, I also do not recommend that.
